IJCAM is interested in articles and book reviews that explore the nature,
effects, treatment, and ethical and policy implications of manipulation,
coercion, and abuse in all areas of interpersonal relations, including but
not limited to:
• intimate partner violence/domestic violence
• radicalization and extremism
• cultic groups (religious cults, political cults, therapeutic cults, business
cults, etc.)
• human trafficking
• abuse of legal or political systems
• gangs and gang violence
• organized crime
• sexual violence (Sexual harassment, sexual abused, sex trafficking etc.)
• workplace abuse
• spiritual/religious abuse
• training
• coaching
• counseling and psychotherapy
• discrimination
• marginalization
• diversity issues
• social-justice advocacy
IJCAM is open to empirical research articles, theoretical essays, clinical
reports, literature reviews, and other papers from all relevant disciplines,
including but not limited to psychology, counseling, sociology, anthropology,
criminology, religious studies, law, education, and political science.
IJCAM proudly accepts article submissions in English, Spanish, and
French. Submissions in Spanish and French will be required to submit an
English abstract translation along with their French/Spanish manuscript
submission. English submissions will not be required to submit French/
