is a lawyer, and acting as the legal representative for a
mother involved with CPS. What follows demonstrates
that Bonnie Straight personally employs the techniques
she promotes, and, ironically, their limited effect:
Bonnie Straight: “I am power of attorney. I am
trustee of her estate and I am the highest law
officer in the whole nation of Texas.”
CPS Worker: “OK so you are not a lawyer,
though?”
Bonnie Straight: “Do I have a BAR card? No,
I keep my hands in my own pockets nor do I
traffick children.”
CPS Worker: “So, what was your question, I’m
sorry.”
Bonnie Straight: “I had asked last week for a
copy of the articles of incorporation.”
CPS Worker: “We won’t be providing that to
you. Do you have any specific questions with
regards to this case?”
Bonnie Straight: “Yeah, is there a cause number?”
CPS Worker: “... We are still in the process
of investigating. We have not removed any
children.”
Bonnie Straight: “If there is a cause of action,
which would have a cause number, ...That
would be the only way in order to be drafted by
a judge.”
CPS Worker: “We have ordered an investigation
by a judge it is not a removal. It’s basically the
equivalent of search warrant. Once that search
warrant was executed, it goes away.”
Bonnie Straight: “I’ve got an affidavit of truth
from the mother that she sought medical
treatment and that should be sufficient for you
to close your case.”
CPS Worker: “It is not but we would appreciate
a copy of it nevertheless.”
Bonnie Straight: “The problem is that my
client has chosen not to contract with your for-
profit corporation. I have asked for articles of
incorporation to prove your existence as a real
legitimate CPS agency that protects children.”
CPS Worker: “Do you live in the state of Texas?”
Bonnie Straight: “I live in this great nation of
Texas, yes, I do.”
CPS Worker: “Do you live in the state of Texas?”
Bonnie Straight: “I live in the nation of Texas.”
CPS Worker: “So, you live in the state of Texas?
Here is a bit of a history lesson, Texas happens
to be part of the United States of America. Are
you familiar with the United States of America?”
Bonnie Straight: “By treaty and contract, yes? It
was actually by treaty, supremacy clause article
6. It’s all by treaty. It’s its own nation. ...You want
to test my knowledge about Texas? Seriously?
What do we look at the Bill of Rights article 1
section 1?”
CPS Worker: “They will actually go with you and
give you a library card it’s actually free. Anybody
can get one.”
Bonnie Straight: “Well maybe you should check
the Bill of Rights of my client. Maybe you should
check the Bill of Rights supremacy clause ...”
CPS Worker: “You should go to the section
marked history specifically Texas history and it
will give you a lot of valuable information.”
Bonnie Straight: “I have it all, I know it all off the
top of my head I have memorized it all ...”
