Witch’s Ritual Draws Teenagers’ Blood
Diana, the 29-year old member of a Satanic sect in Odessa, Ukraine, has been arrested and
charged with luring seven teenagers to her home, stupefying them with drugs and alcohol,
and then taking their blood to use in occult rituals. Diana, who has a ―witch diploma‖ from
the Red Dragon magic order, told police she helped people cast evil spells on enemies. She
is said to make a living from this. (Pravda, Internet, 6/18/05)
World Wide Association of Specialty Schools
Schools for Troubled Youths Target of Legislation
Rep. George Miller (D-CA), has introduced legislation to increase oversight of certain youth
facilities, usually in rural areas around the country, that use behavior modification to reform
problem students whose families pay thousands for the service. The Utah-based World
Wide Association of Specialty Schools (WWASPS) is one among many such
organizations that has occasioned concern and scrutiny following charges of child abuse and
questionable business practices.
WWASPS president Ken Kay denies the accusations, or says they are exaggerated. ―They
[the students] make up stories, they fabricate you are dealing with a difficult part of
society.‖ (Amy Joi Bryson, Deseret Morning News, Internet, 4/21/05)
