Austria
Friedrich Griess
Germany
Twelve Tribes
In Bavaria, a male Twelve Tribes teacher
has been condemned for flogging
pupils. He received a fine of 2000 Euros
and the prison penalty of 6 months
was suspended. A female Twelve Tribes
teacher there has been condemned to
2 years in prison without parole, and
another woman has been condemned
to 9 months in prison without parole
for the same crime. Several other
people were condemned with parole.
A German student of ethnology went
to the United States to study the
Twelve Tribes group and subsequently
has made a documentary film. Brief
background details about the film are
available at twelve-tribes-project.com/
Reichsbürger
For several years, various groups
similar to the Freemen in Western
countries, referred to as Reichsbürger,
have claimed that the actual Federal
Republic of Germany is illegal—
that it was created after 1945 by
the occupation forces and is just a
company these groups feel obliged
only to a German Empire within the
frontiers of 1937. The groups have
created their own banking system, their
own courts, their own governments,
and so on. They refuse to pay taxes
and to follow laws, and in many ways
they obstruct the functioning of
public authorities, by flooding them
with petitions and proposals—often
called “paper terrorism”—so that the
authorities are unable to do their
normal work. An outstanding figure
is Peter Fitzek, self-appointed King
of Germany Peter I. The office for
the protection of the constitution of
Brandenburg has published a brochure
to instruct civil servants how to handle
those people.
Jehovah’s Witnesses
A US Jehovah’s Witnesses video
distributed in German social networks
has caused outrage. The video teaches
children that homosexuals will not go
to heaven.
Sri Chinmoy
The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace
Run (a global torch relay) passed
through Germany from June 26 to 29,
2016.
Colonia Dignidad
Since the recent release of documents
about the Colonia Dignidad horror of
torture, the “disappearing” of people
in Chile under the Nazi regime during
the rule of Pinochet, child molestation,
and member abuse, about 150 victims
are blaming Chile and Germany
for the crimes and are requesting
compensation. Foreign minister
Steinmeier admits that German
Embassy staff failed to react.
Guru From Lonnerstadt (Gerhard
Lebok)
Gerhard Lebok, the Guru from
Lonnerstadt, and his spouse were
found guilty of preventing a teenager
they were caring for from getting
appropriate medical treatment.
The teenager was suffering from
mucoviscidosis. The spouse went to
prison. For a while, the Guru avoided
being transferred to prison by
pretending to have health problems,
but eventually he also ended up there.
Austria
Freemen Austria (Joe Kreissl)
Similar to the Freemen known in
Western countries, Joe Kreissl/Freemen
Austria rejects the Austrian state and
wants to build his own state with
its own courts. Kreissl denies the
Holocaust and refuses to pay traffic
fines. He is involved in a bankruptcy
case in the range of some hundred
thousand Euros but claims the
Republic owes him many millions. He
has about fifteen adherents and is
more or less a local phenomenon.
One People’s Public Trust (OPPT)
The OPPT organization, similar to
the Freemen, also rejects public
authorities. The office for the
protection of the constitution
in Carinthia recently received
approximately 50 warnings about
threats and increased protection of
court buildings.
Sri Chinmoy
The Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace
Run (a global torch relay) passed
through Austria on April 30, 2016, and
from June 9 to 11, 2016.
